Hi, I'm Santiago, a native speaker from Bogotá. We talk about your life, your work and your trips, and you leave every class able to say something new. If a rule gets confusing, I can explain it in English or German.

You asked.
Is the first class really free?
Yes. Every new student gets one free 25-minute trial class. You fill in a short form, then pick a time in my calendar.
How much do lessons cost?
A single 50-minute lesson is $27 (€25). Packs: 5 lessons for $115 (€105), 10 lessons for $220 (€200) and 20 lessons for $400 (€380).
How does booking work?
Pick a free time in the calendar at the bottom of this page. It shows times in your own time zone and asks for your name and email so I can send you the meeting details. Paid lessons are booked the same way after you choose a pack.
Which levels do you teach, and can you explain in German?
All levels, including complete beginners, who get a calm, structured start. When a rule gets stuck I explain it briefly in English (C1) or German (B2), then we go back to Spanish.
Can I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
Yes. Reschedule at least 24 hours before the lesson. Later changes may use a credit.
How long is a paid lesson?
Paid lessons last 50 minutes. The free trial is shorter on purpose: 25 minutes to meet, hear you speak and agree on a simple plan.
Which pack should I start with?
Most students continue with the 10-lesson pack after the free class. It is the best fit for steady progress.
How do I pay?
Lessons and packs are paid with PayPal through the buttons on this page. You only pay if you decide to continue after the free class.
How do credits work?
The free trial uses 0.5 credit (25 minutes). Each paid pack lesson uses 1 credit (50 minutes).
What happens if I miss a lesson?
A no-show uses 1 credit, or the free trial if that was the booking.
Do packs expire?
Yes. Unused lessons expire 6 months after purchase.
Can I get a refund?
There is no refund on the first paid class or on a pack once it has started.
Can you explain things in English or German?
Yes. I speak English at C1 and German at B2. When a grammar rule gets stuck, I explain it briefly in English or German and then we go back to Spanish.
What kind of Spanish do you teach?
Colombian and Latin American Spanish, the Spanish you hear in Bogotá and across much of Latin America. If you need forms from Spain, for example vosotros, I point them out.
I am a complete beginner. Is that OK?
Yes. Beginners get a calm, structured start. The free class is there to check your level and the pace before you buy anything.
Can you help me prepare for the DELE?
I prepare you for the skills the DELE tests, such as speaking freely and writing well-structured texts. I am not an official examiner and I don't promise a grade. Registration and dates go through the Instituto Cervantes.
What about time zones?
You book in your own time zone. The booking form asks for it, and the calendar shows my free times converted for you.
Where do lessons happen?
Online, 1:1 by video call. Booking and packs stay on garnica.co. No WhatsApp, and you don't need a marketplace account.
